AI Ad Generator From URL: Make a Video Ad
Paste a website, product page or Instagram link and get a finished video ad. Here is what Remy asks, what you see before it generates, and what to check.
You can turn a link into a finished video ad in a few minutes. Paste a website, product page, listing or Instagram link into AI Studio, answer two or three short questions from Remy, check the shot plan and credit price, then approve. Nothing generates until you say yes, and you never write a prompt.
What do you need before you start?
You need a link, a rough idea of who the ad is for, and a plan that includes AI Studio. That is all. The link can be a website, a product page, a property listing or an Instagram link. If you have no page yet, you can describe the ad in plain English or add a product photo instead.
Before you paste anything, spend two minutes on the page itself. The link is your source material, so the cleaner it is, the less you will need to fix later.
- A page that says what the product is. A clear name, a clear description and good photos all help.
- Details you stand behind. If the page has an old offer or an out-of-date feature, fix the page first.
- One audience in mind. "Everyone" is not an audience. Pick the buyer you want to reach.
- One place the ad will run. That decides the shape of the video. Our video aspect ratio guide covers the common formats.
If all you have is a product photo and no page, read how to create video ads from product photos.
How do you turn a link into a video ad, step by step?
Paste the link, answer a few questions, review the plan, then approve. Here are the steps in order.
Step 1: Paste your link into AI Studio
Open AI Studio and paste the link into the chat with Remy, the AI creative director. A website, a product page, a listing and an Instagram link all work. Remy starts from what you paste, so use the most specific page you have. A page for one product beats a home page for fifty.
Step 2: Pick the kind of ad, or let the link decide
Choose the ad type that fits what you sell. AI Studio makes five kinds:
- Realistic UGC ads: a real-looking creator talking to camera, including AI influencers.
- Animated story ads: a short animated story with talking characters.
- Cinematic product ads: polished product shots for things that should look good.
- Property walkthroughs: a room-by-room video made from a listing link.
- Clone any ad: remake an ad that already works with your own product, brand or presenter.
If you paste a listing link, a property walkthrough is the obvious fit. For a product page, UGC or cinematic are the usual starting points. Ads can run up to 60 seconds, but shorter is often better. Say how long you want it.
Step 3: Answer Remy's two or three questions
Keep each answer to a sentence. Remy asks two or three short questions, so there is no long form to fill in. Good answers name the buyer, the one thing the ad must say, and where it will run. "Busy home cooks, show how fast it works, for Instagram" is plenty.
Do not try to write a script or a prompt. Remy plans the ad. Your job is to give direction, not to write instructions.
Step 4: Read the shot plan and the credit price
Remy plans every shot and shows you the exact credit price before anything generates. This is the most important screen in the process. Read it the way you would read a storyboard from a freelancer. If a shot is wrong, tell Remy in plain English before you approve.
Step 5: Approve, then review the finished ad
Approve only when the plan and price both look right. Verts holds the credits when the job starts and charges them only when the finished piece is delivered. If a generation fails, the credits are released automatically. You can use what you make in ads, posts and listings; you clear the rights in anything you upload.
What should you check before you approve?
Check that every shot is accurate, every claim is true and the price fits your balance. Most problems are easier to fix at the plan stage than after the video exists. Run through this list:
- The product is right. Does each shot show the thing you actually sell, in the way it actually works?
- The claims are true. If the ad says something about speed, size, materials or an offer, make sure it matches your page today.
- The first shot earns attention. People decide fast. The opening should show the product or the problem, not a slow build.
- The length fits the platform. A tight ad usually does more than a long one.
- The format fits where it will run. Vertical, square and wide each suit different places.
- The credit price is one you are happy with. If it feels high, ask for fewer shots or a shorter ad.
- The ad ends with one clear action. Visit the page, shop now, book a viewing. Pick one.
What mistakes should you avoid?
The biggest mistake is approving a plan you skimmed. The others are smaller, but they add up.
- Pasting a vague page. A home page with many products gives mixed signals. Use a page for one product or one listing.
- Leaving the page out of date. If the ad matches the page and the page is wrong, the ad is wrong too.
- Answering with a wish list. Three goals in one ad means none lands. Choose one message.
- Skipping the shot plan. The plan is where you catch a wrong shot, before the video is made.
- Making one ad and stopping. Run a few angles for the same product, such as a UGC version and a cinematic version, and keep what performs.
- Ignoring the platform. An ad shaped for one placement can look wrong in another.
How do you do this in Verts?
You do it in AI Studio, and it is the same flow described above. Open AI Studio, paste your link, and talk to Remy. Remy asks a few short questions, plans every shot, shows the exact credit price and generates only after you approve.
AI Studio is on the Pro plan, which is $100 a month plus tax and includes 2,000 credits. Starter does not include AI Studio. If you want to try it first, the $10 Pro trial runs for 3 days with 400 credits and includes AI Studio. After 3 days it becomes Pro at $100 a month unless you cancel before then. See pricing for the full plan details.
If you already work in Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, Remy is available there too through the Verts connector. The setup is on the developers page. You can also reach Remy from tools like n8n with a personal API key from Settings. Both need Pro, the $10 Pro trial or Agency.
Once you have the ad, other Verts tools can finish the job. Use Images to fix a still with one sentence, or Omni to change a clip of up to 10 seconds with one sentence.
What should you do next?
Pick one product page you want to sell more of, check that the page is accurate, and make one ad from it. Review the shot plan with care, approve, then run it and see what you learn. Make a second version with a different ad type. Small tests tell you more than one big guess.
